Founded by a couple of friends in 2018, GAY BASH'D is an institution of Boston's queer nightlife subculture. A cornerstone and crucial convening for Boston’s LGBTQIA2S+ community, the series continues to throw year-round events that are known for their outrageous experience, over-the-top live shows, high production, and special guests. You never know what you might see at a GAY BASH'D party. Since inception, GAY BASH’D has remained a queer, trans, women, and BIPOC-led organization whose grassroots background still influences productions today. Born a small underground party, GAY BASH'D has grown to become a national destination queer event & the largest event series of its kind in the region. A record-breaking 3,500 attendees show up for each GAY BASH'D Pride event, making it the highest attended queer rave & dance party in both Boston & New England nightlife history. Having been featured in PAPER Magazine, The Boston Globe, Rolling Stone Magazine, and Thrillist, GAY BASH’D has been recognized as “iconic” & “pivotal” by some of the nation’s leading publications. The series attracts party-goers of all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life. Despite the trends, it firmly remains 18+ in order to make space for a new generation of ravers to discover the beauty of the dance floor. Come see what all the hype is about!
